Attending the official opening of the very new and plush Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay was a perfect way to easy myself back into blogging after traveling. During the course of the evening guests at the event were taken on a tasting tour of three concept restaurants, which included celebrity Chef Wolfgang Puck’s highly rated steakhouse, Cut. Beautifully presented tasters from Bahrain Bay Kitchen, Re Asian Cuisine (Wolfgang Puck) and Cut were savored throughout the course of the evening and with so much food on offer it was not possible to taste it all… although I think I did well. The evening included socializing with guests in the Grand Lobby area and the Moroccan inspired Blue Moon Lounge (Wolfgang Puck) on the ear popping 50th floor.
There was quite a buzz and the party was definitely in the kitchen of Chef Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant, Cut. Chef enthusiastically interacted with guests and was at ease with selfies and photographs. I did manage a photo with him which I posted on my Instagram account. Wagyu sliders with brioche buns, crab rolls, steak tartar, lamb and bites of delectable beef were on offer and were certainly going down a treat with everyone.
Catching up with some foodie friends Fifi, Tasha and Georgina under an olive tree in the gorgeous Grand Lobby area of the Four Seasons Bahrain Bay, while more canapés sweet and savory were served by friendly staff. Loved the salt brick some of the canapés rested on… attention to detail was obvious throughout the entire evening.
The Bahrain Bay Kitchen had an array of seafood, sushi, Indian, mezze and international bites to savor, and all so beautifully presented. The Smoked Beef and Truffle Dauphinoise was very moorish as were the Deep-fried Dates wrapped in Bacon. The chocolate clock creation stood tall, reminding us to make time for the delicious array of desserts.
Invited as a guest to the Four Seasons Bahrain Bay official opening, thank you for a wonderful evening of tasting…. which has only left me wanting more. Details of Cut, Bahrain Bay Kitchen and Re Asian Cuisine restaurants are found on their website, Four Seasons Bahrain.
Looks and sounds like it was quite the fabulous tasting event – so happy you shared your experiences with us! The chocolate clock made me smile…..
