Open up your kitchen drawers and cupboards and if like me, they are filled to capacity with knives, whisks, zesters, garlic crushers, peelers, mixers, processors, bakeware, plates, bowls… you name it and it’s in there. All this kitchen stuff has accumulated over the years. Do I really need or use all of these cooking tools, appliances, bakeware etc… !
My task is to go through all my kitchen drawers and cupboards and find the usefulness of all these kitchen items… which I like to call “my kitchen jewelry.” With each piece of “kitchen jewellery” I ask myself……. “what do I use this for”? “How often do I use this”? “Has this piece of “kitchen jewellery” any other use”? In what food preparation is it most useful”? “Can I create great recipes using this cooking tool”? Hopefully saving it from being removed to a box and sent back out into the world through the local charity shop. Or will my “kitchen jewelery” be reinstated back into its kitchen drawer or cupboard for further use!
So… let me get start! Will keep you posted!
