In My Kitchen February 2015

In My Kitchen February 2015 Coffee Mug with Chocolate Chip CookieIn my kitchen this February are Royal Doulton coffee cups (Gordon Ramsey range), Mum brought them out as she is visiting. Wishing You A Happy New Year

Fruit and Vegetable Stall in Sri LankaWith the arrival of another new year we cannot predict what lies ahead, but the one thing I can do is wish you all good health and happiness in surroundings of great company and of course, good food. I really appreciate you being part of my blogging world… so thank you for being here.
This year we spent an entirely different Christmas in a very overcast and wet Sri Lanka and escaped the madness that sometimes comes with this time of year. Yearly resolutions are not something I make but looking at this wonderful road-side fruit and vegetable stall has made me think… more vegetarian dishes. So before I start with some blog posts, I leave you with a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson and hope you all have a wonderful and blessed 2015.

“The greatest delight the fields and woods minister is the suggestion of an occult relation between man and the vegetable. ‘I am not alone and unacknowledged.’ They nod to me and I to them.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)

Love and best wishes Moya xx

This recipe for Laal Mass was created by Mahipal Singh, the executive chef at the Nirvana restaurant at The Ritz Carlton Hotel Bahrain. This was part of an Indian cultural event at the hotel and had been invited to attend a cooking class. Continue reading “Spicy Lamb Curry | Laal Maas”
