Hope everyone had a lovely festive holiday and the New Year is off to a good start. Wishing you and your families a healthy, happy and peaceful year ahead. Have you made any new year resolutions? I normally don’t make any but last year I did… managed to get through almost half the year and then I seemed to have forgotten that I had made some. But like last year, I will continue to use of my cookbooks more. Although many of my friends look online for new recipes, I prefer my cookbooks as a source of inspiration and of course enjoy the beautiful food images too.
Colds and flu did not escape our family this festive season and helping sooth the transition into 2018, were warming spiced drinks made with orange juice, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and honey from our bee hives. And when a stronger drink was required… hot toddies went down a treat.
Next month I will resume the “In My Kitchen posts” as I haven’t managed to do much photography or document anything over the festive season. Anyways, just wanted to shoot out a quick post and thank you for your visits, follows and comments on my blog, much appreciated. Looking forward to the year ahead with you all once more. Moya xx.
Happy new year to you also, Moya.
