Often I’m told to drink more water… I do try, but fail miserably. In my quest to sneakily add more water to my diet, recently was inspired to make this Iced Green Tea with fresh Apple Juice from a Donna Hay magazine (Fresh and Light) I picked up on my travels. Although I am not a great fan of iced teas, especially those laced with sugar, this iced tea is very light and refreshing. High Tea, Just A Salad and Lunch Specials are some delicious new additions to Cafe Amsterdam’s menu. Love the different seating areas throughout the café and the conservatory is perfect for high tea or lunch with friends. Feels very homely… almost like visiting Grandmas house.
An Afternoon with Marimar Torres at La Vinoteca Barcelona
Recently I had the privilege of meeting the lovely Marimar Torres over lunch, hosted by La Vinoteca Barcelona. On meeting Marimar you immediately sensed her warm and welcoming nature, quickly putting you at ease. It’s not every day you meet the real personality behind the wines, as Marimar Torres is founder and proprietor of Marimar Estate Vineyards and Winery in California. With wine there’s history and throughout the course of the afternoon we got to know a little more about Marimar Torres, whose family have produced Spanish wines as far back as the 17th century.
