Squeezing in an “In My Kitchen” post before the year end, which of course is only a few weeks away. Many items passed through my kitchen these past months but only managed to photograph a few. No fussing around with tart tins or blind baking pastry cases with this free-form Tomato Tart with Feta Cheese and Roasted Garlic. Using ready-rolled shop bought puff-pastry-sheets makes it even simpler. Of course you can always make your own pastry if you wish but we are going the easy route. In season now, we’ve had plenty of these sweet and juicy doughnut peach in our kitchen over the past few weeks. These flat little peaches taste like they should and have a lovely sweet perfume, imported from Jordan and plentiful in Bahrain’s markets. Continue reading “In My Kitchen August 2019”
